Pub of the Week: The Spinning Wheel

Oh, we do like to be beside the seaside - and for our latest Pub of the Week we head to the popular Devon seaside town of Paignton - and the Spinning Wheel Inn.

The location of the "Spinny" couldn't be better - overlooking the attractive Paignton Green and the seashore beyond. It's a busy pub, popular with locals and visitors alike - and it's well known for its line-up of evening entertainment, including live bands, a resident DJ and, for those who crave the limelight, a weekly karaoke night.

Expertly managed by Tom, the Spinning Wheel offers a great line-up on the bar, including our famous and original Jail Ale served to perfection. When hunger strikes, you'll be spoiled for choice, with succulent steaks, perfect pizzas and classic basket meals on offer.

The Spinning Wheel is a great choice if you fancy a leisurely day by the seaside, or a brisk walk along the coast path - either the short walk to nearby Torquay, or the more challenging stomp to the picturesque Devon fishing town of Brixham.
